Choirs 2014St Matthew’s Choir & Junior Choir

St Matthew’s has a small but able Parish Choir. At the 10am Sunday services, the choir leads the hymns and Eucharist when it is sung. Choir practices are held on Thursday evenings.

We also have a Junior Choir that takes part in our 10am Sunday services once a month.

New members of these choirs are always welcome.  Please contact the Vicar.

Instruments

St Matthew’s has a very fine pipe organ and a Bechstein grand piano (looked after for the Hastings District Council), both of which are used in services.

With its fine acoustics and extensive performance area, organ and piano, St Matthew's is regularly used by local choirs, orchestra ensembles and recitalists. Check for coming events on this website.
